Le Meridien Re-Ndama organizes on a regular basis charity events to support the community the hotel operates in. Below several initiatives are highlited.
Within the framework of the national week of the environment, a procession carnival was organized on Saturday 4th of June 2011.
This original initiative in collaboration with the regional program of conservation & valorisation of the forest ecosystems in Africa (Ecofac), of the network of the surfaces protected from Central Africa (Undertow), of Unesco, Jane institute, brought together several children from 20 schools of Libreville and Owendo.
These young ambassadors of the biodiversity, disguised in animal costumes, chosen among the most threatened ones.
This carnival was completed around a lunch buffet under the bungalow, were books were offered to each school. In total this initiative raised $2,016.84 for the youth schools of Libreville and Owendo.
